Per MA State Housing Code Minimum Standards of Fitness for Human Habitation: 105 CMR 410.920: Penalty for Failure to Comply with Order:

Any person who shall fail to comply with any order issued pursuant to the provisions of 105 CMR 410.000 shall upon conviction be fined not less than $10.00 nor more than $500.00. Each day's failure to comply with an order shall constitute a separate violation. The Ware Board of Health voted on August 19, 2026; that, if it is determined upon inspection that all violations have not been corrected as expected at the first scheduled reinspection, and a second reinspection is required, a $150.00 fee will be imposed.  Please note that if violations remain unresolved, an additional fee of $150.00 will be imposed for each subsequent reinspection until all violations are corrected.”  Failure to pay re inspection fees may result in court action or municipal liens to the property.
