Substance Use

Support and resources for those dealing with substance use and addiction

Substance Use

The Quabbin Health District strives to connect individuals and families with local resources that support mental wellbeing and substance use recovery.

Our mission is also to engage and collaborate with the community to foster conditions that support individuals and families to prevent and reduce substance misuse and to improve mental health and wellbeing.

Mental Health & Wellbeing

High school students in the Baystate Springfield Educational Partnership (BSEP) worked with FOCUS Springfield Community Television to script and produce a two and half minute public service announcement (PSA) about teen mental health and wellbeing. Mental health issues in teens have increased dramatically since the beginning of the pandemic. The video encourages teens to seek help and provides resources for them.

The only safe medications are ones that come from licensed and accredited medical professionals.  Pills purchased outside of a licensed pharmacy are illegal, dangerous, and potentially lethal. #OnePillCanKill Learn more at www.dea.gov/onepill
