First Aid/CPR/Choking Classes

Quabbin Health District’s public health nurse Kirsten Krieger RN, BSN, is a certified instructor for the American Red Cross, and is offering CPR, First Aid, and choking saver training. The fee for each depends on the course format desired. The Quabbin Health District fee is $45.00 for all classes, except the Basic Life Saver (BLS) certifications which are $50.00.

The American Red Cross fee is listed by course (see price list below). The prices include the course, course materials, and certification card and both fees payable to the Quabbin Health District upon registration for the course. CPR (Choke Saver Included) – $45.00 Plus cost of student supplies

For Food Establishments that have 25 or more seats, the Law requires at least 1 person on site during hours of operation who is certified in choke saving and for Lifeguards, babysitters, and other interested members of the community 

BLS (basic life support) – $50.00 Plus cost of student supplies

For anyone going into the health care profession (Nurses; CNA’s, EMT’s) 

Stop the Bleed Training – $10.00

Any interested member of the community 

TB Testing- $20.00
